1. Data We Do Not Collect

Tooth Moment is designed with privacy-first principles. We do NOT collect, store, or process any personal information. Specifically:

No account or registration: The app does not require any account, login, or registration.
No network transmission: The app does not send any data to any server. There is no backend service.
No analytics or tracking: The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers.
No data sharing: We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any.

2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your iOS device's local sandbox and is never transmitted anywhere:

Teeth photos: Photos captured using the in-app camera, stored in the app's private Application Support directory.
AI analysis results: Results generated by the on-device AI model (Core ML).
Care habit records: Brushing, flossing, and mouthwash check-ins.
Treatment records: Your logged dental visit history, costs, and notes.
Tooth chart status: Manual marks on the FDI tooth chart.

None of this data ever leaves your device. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all local data.

3. Camera Permission

The app requests camera permission (NSCameraUsageDescription) solely for capturing teeth photos within the app. Photos are processed locally by the on-device AI model and stored in the app's private sandbox. They are never uploaded to any server.

4. On-Device AI

Tooth Moment uses a Core ML model that runs entirely on your device. Image analysis is performed locally by the device's Neural Engine / GPU. No image data is sent to any cloud service for inference.

5. No Tracking

This app does not use any tracking technologies, does not track user behavior across apps or websites, and does not link to external advertising networks. The PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest declares NSPrivacyTracking = false.

6. Children's Privacy

The app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any data from children. Since we do not collect any data from any user, the app is safe for all ages.

7. Data Retention

All data is stored only on your device. You have full control: deleting photos or records within the app, or uninstalling the app, will permanently remove all associated data. We have no servers and therefore retain nothing.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Since the app does not collect data, material changes to data practices are not expected.
